What an amazing opportunity it is to experience the birth of a baby. This was my fourth time, three of which were those of my own children. I was very fortunate to be able to be there when Elena was born. Not only because of the honor that it is, but because she came so quickly that I almost didn’t make it in time.
Sadly, almost immediately after Baby Elena was born, she was taken into the NICU. I wasn’t able to capture those precious moments between mother and child in the hospital, so I visited Elena, Brianna and Kyle in their home shortly after.
