New York

Being asked to travel is one of the best parts of my job. When I was asked to travel to New York City I couldn’t help but bring my wife and spend a few extra days. If you haven’t been to New York, its an amazing experience that you won’t forget. I’m very excited to share some of the amazing pictures from the couple that brought me to New York, but until then, here are some of the pictures from our time there.

Brooklyn Bridge was even cooler than I thought. Even being punched in the arm by an unfriendly cyclist couldn’t ruin the coolness.

Here we are at the Metropolitan Museum.  To be honest I was kind of bored till we hit the Modern art section; it was definitely more our style.  Once we realized that, we decided that The Museum of Modern Art was a must.

I’m sure if we had just decided to blindly spend a few day in New York we would have had fun, but luckily we didn’t have to do it blind. We spent the whole time with our sister-in-law. Allyse was our tour guide and made the whole experience so much more fun. Sadly we didn’t get to see Blake (my wife’s brother) very much, due to his VERY demanding job as an investment banker/analyst. However the few times we did get to spend with him were usually spent enjoying some of New York’s amazing restaurants. Peruvian from Pio Pio, an amazing burger from Hillstone, and even a Frozen Hot Chocolate from Serendipity.
